Do's & Don'ts to keep in mind...
-Do not argue with your former spouse in front of your children on the phone or in public.
-Do be polite and civil when interacting with your children's other parent.
-Do not talk with your children about behavior of their mom or dad.
-Do make it a priority to develop a polite and cordial relationship with your former spouse.
-Do not speak poorly or disrespectfully of any of your children's extended family.
-Do choose to focus on the strengths and positive characteristics of all extended family members.
-Do not demand your children take sides or question their loyalty. Your children are not pawns in a chess game!
-Do maintain open lines of communication with your former spouse.
